Coaching
Skills for Managers
(1-day programme with follow-up support)
Coaching is the largest growth area in training
and development* and the most cost-effective way for business managers
to help their people learn, grow and confidently take responsibility
for solving their own problems.
‘Coaching Skills for Managers’ helps delegates build on their existing skills and learn new techniques immediately transferable in their workplace.
This 1-day programme with follow-up support is participative, stimulating, enjoyable and in itself reflects two of the key dynamics of coaching – it supports and challenges.
The emphasis is on skills practice and in particular, non-directive coaching. It is the art of non-direction that managers tend to find the most challenging yet getting people to think intelligently for themselves clearly provides the greatest benefits. We do not use role-play; all skills practise is ‘live’.
